- Dominique Barnes (a month ago):
I’ve been looking to relocate, and found the Carlyle in the perfect neighborhood. I reached out, was able to do a self tour with email instructions. I loved the unit so I applied, submitted my documents and was approved. I signed my lease and started making arrangements for my current home to. E rented out. The next evening I received a call saying the unit I signed for was no longer available (current tenants cancelled move out which is totally legal I understand) and there were no comparable units to offer. The next available unit is $400 more than the one I signed for, and it’s on the 3rd floor rather than the 2nd floor (apartments have no elevator). I sent an email to talk to a sales manager just to see if there is anything they can do to price match, give a month free, and I have not received a response via email, text, or call to see if there is anything they can accommodate. As a new tenant I would hope they would want the experience to be seamless but so far I feel their practices were a bit predatory and there is a lack of responsiveness. Im a tad disappointed as I expected more given how simple the self your process was.

Stay away from this place. The rent is expensive, and there are a lot of hidden charges that are not clearly explained upfront. We fully vacated the unit on 4/10/26 and returned our keys before the confirmed move-out date of 5/3/26. We also completed the final walkthrough, called the office, and received email confirmation regarding our final stay date. Despite completing all required steps and communicating multiple times, we were still contacted asking whether we had vacated the unit. The experience was made worse by rude and unprofessional management, particularly Fatima Rea. Communication felt dismissive and poorly coordinated throughout the process. Overall, the management, lack of organization, and unexpected fees made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend living here.

I would like to give 5 stars for the maintenance here. Abdel is always prompt to respond and fixes things so quickly and efficiently. He is very polite, and it is never a hassle to get whatever I need repaired here. Definitely the best experience I’ve had with maintenance at any apartment I’ve ever lived in.

I have been living here for about 8 months and i have been trying to get in touch with them about a few reserved parking spots. I have contacted them multiple times. They keep telling me the have an audit to check on who actually has permits. I have been walking around the complex and see that, almost or if not, most cars don't even have permits. Also, the gate leading into the "luxury apartment" has been broken for the last two weeks, there were a crew working on it for 4 hours and want to know how it turned out? STILL BROKEN. I have seen multiple people complaining that the towing company that's supposed to tow the random vehicles that can go in and park in any spot, they don't even have a contract with them anymore. So there's a bunch of random cars with or without permits. Just give me my TWO parking spots. PLEASE. I have to beg the place i live in, to do there job. I'm literally offering you money for those spots so just take my money and give me my spots.

Seemingly a nice place to live but a much different experience once you live here. Maintenance is great since they work in a timely manner for any repairs that are needed. However, the management and leasing team are lacking tremendously. There is no one onsite so it’s nearly impossible to speak to anyone about anything. When you do reach someone by calling, they either never follow up or don’t process anything related to what you talked about. My partner and I had an issue because they couldn’t locate a current lease for us and when they said they’d send an updated one so that we could update occupants on it also, it was never sent. I gave my email and information over the phone only to be called again and asked the information all over again. I still have not received any email or follow up regarding this matter. This was over 3 months ago. Things just don’t get done here. It seems as if the leasing team is not competent to do their job. This miscommunication or lack of communication is why leases can’t be located and things are not processed. As a tenant, this is very frustrating- constantly being given the run around. I have also had my car vandalized right in front of the complex and even while parked inside. In regards to parking, if someone is parked in your assigned spot then there is nothing you can do because you can’t reach anyone in these instances. You can call the tow company yourself but they request a “tow card” that is “issued by the leasing team” but when you ask leasing or maintenance for the card, they have no idea what you’re talking about. So parking is more or less a free for all. Regardless of if you’re paying for it or not. The communication with leasing and management is ridiculous to say the least. I’d highly recommended leasing elsewhere if you are on the hunt for a new apartment. I will definitely be ready to end our lease the next time it’s up and find a well managed community.

Abdel did an absolutely wonderful job with a few recent repairs. He is always so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I can say confidently that I have never seen someone repair anything within a unit with such a degree of professionalism and skill. Thank you Abdel!

Really bad place to live these days. Its a gated community but the gate is useless. They constantly are broken and the pedestrian doors stay open often. There is constant theft within the community from stolen packages to stolen property and car break-ins. Its either from the workers or the people that live there. There are apartments that are rented with the intention of renting out every room including the kitchen and living room to strangers. You have to pay to park you car inside the community but even your reserved parking spots get taken by strangers who have no parking passes and management hasn't done anything about it The car break ins are just as bad as parking outside. I have a car that I rarely drive and parts were stolen from it and it was clearly an inside job as no one but the residences here ever see the car. Their amenities are a joke too. There are stolen weights in the gym that they never replace. The pool gets taken over by large parties of people not from the complex with heavy drinkers and leave alcohol around so its unusable. It smells like weed every day. Morning, day and night. The "Clubhouse" advertised on the site is not usable. They barely started allowing people to use it but only monday-friday during work hours and even if you wanted to use it, its always locked. Your not allowed to walk into the office and they never answer their phones. The "security" will answer the calls but they put you on a long hold and don't actually come out or call you back like they say they do. Overall, its very expensive and there are much more ghetto places that are better worth the price of rent than here.

Best customer service ever! I had trouble twice in the same day, one in the afternoon and the other in the late night. He was driving 15mins from his hom to my apt to fix things out. It was beyond my expectation. Wonderful team!
